Professional

I began my professional career in Omaha, Nebraska at Alegent Health Bergan Mercy Physical Therapy Clinic, an outpatient orthopedic clinic. I was privileged to work with a large, knowledgeable team of physical therapists and occupational hand therapists with seven orthopedic surgeons next door, referring to our staff. I feel I learned a lot from many great mentors over my five year stay in Omaha. I also worked in acute care at the Bergan Mercy Hospital, gaining valuable experience with post-operative care of our patients and then seeing them through their outpatient rehabilitation.
Being originally from the Canada, and not far from Lake Ontario and cottage country, my husband and I decided we needed to head to beautiful coastal North Carolina. Once here, I worked for three years with Sports Plus Physical Therapy, an outpatient clinic which was eventually bought by Carolina Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy. After 4 years of working for Carolina Sports, I was pleased to hear my friends and co-workers had the opportunity to open Shoreline Physical Therapy.
I am so excited and fortunate to be included in Doug, Jai, and Steve’s team here at Shoreline PT, where they specialize in orthopedic, sports and spine rehabilitation. My aim is to offer my patients compassionate, comprehensive care with the goals of returning them to the activities they love, whether it be gardening, golfing, walking, running, kayaking, whatever the passion.

Personal

I have been married for 15 years now to my husband Rich, and we have been blessed with a son and a daughter. I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering at the kids’ schools, coaching “Girls on the Run”, and hosting our many friends and family who venture south to see lovely Wilmington, NC. My hobbies include running with my family and two Italian Greyhounds, kayaking, swimming, baking and crafts.
