You will be educated on your injury and learn how to move better. You will receive advice and exercises for home to help the treatment to be more effective and to help avoid recurrence.  With our customized home exercise program App, we can digitally send you video instruction of corrective exercise to improve your pain and function.

To Book an Appointment

Telehealth visits are available to current Shoreline Physical Therapy patients and any new patients with Medicare, United Health Care, Cigna, or Aetna insurance coverage. Other insurances at this time are not allowing new patient evaluations via telehealth at this time. These patients have the option to initiate care with a visit in our office. Appointment requests must be initiated by the patient. Patients can conveniently book telehealth appointments by calling our office at 910-791-0396 to request an appointment.

How It Works

Shoreline Physical Therapy will utilize our PT Wired home exercise Web App to initiate the videoconference. Once you schedule your Telehealth appointment, make sure you have created a login into the PT Wired Web App.  Most current patients have an account with PT Wired.  If you do not have an account, call us at 791-0396 and request that your therapist set up an account using your email address.

At the time of your scheduled appointment, access your email.  Your physical therapist will send a link through email to join a video call .  Open the email and click the “Open Web Application” button and follow the instructions in the email.

During the call your therapist will question you on your symptoms, observe your exercises and movements and review the appropriate exercises to continue.

During the call, your therapist can update your exercise program on the Shoreline Physical Therapy Web App.

Some important points to access the call:

Patients will not be able to access the video call on a mobile phone.  You will need to access the Web App through a web browser on a computer.  An iPad will work if the App is accessed through a web browser.

Patient must have an account in PT Wired and have created their login using their email address as a username and a unique password.  Use all lowercase letters in your email address when logging in.  If you are not sure if you have an account ask your therapist when you schedule the appointment.

Telehealth appointments may be subject to normal insurance co-pays and deductibles as a regular clinic visit.  This may vary depending on your insurance policy.  Please consider our telehealth service if you are unable to attend therapy in the clinic.  We are happy to offer this service to help all our patients optimize their health!
